It is difficult to explain exactly the strength of a candle... Everyone is different with different preferences. Some people may have trouble perceiving a scent that others find too strong. The strength of a candle, soft or strong is not a fault, all are unique.
Of course, different scents have different strengths, so you may find that one is more suited to a certain room than another or for a special occasion.
At LightOnMe, our candles are all made with 100% soy wax, no mixing with other lower quality waxes. Did you know that stores may advertise a soy wax candle, but in fact it is a mixture of soy wax and paraffin... Always buy 100% soy wax candles.
We make our candles to be delicate, soft and fragrant for a room of approximately 16' x 16'. If you want to increase the strength of the fragrance in a room, we recommend that you light 2 candles or more depending on the size of the room.
We want everyone to enjoy our candles, so after extensive testing and using a combination of candle making techniques, you can be assured that we are using the maximum safe quantity and quality of fragrance oils.
We know there are many benefits to using essential oils, but due to their flash points (temperature at which the oil catches fire), lack of a fragrance spray, unpredictability, and their toxic potential when burned, we don't feel good about using them in our candle making.
We recommend that you change perfumes regularly, because you can get used to a perfume and it can become more difficult to smell it.
